Job Title: General Duties Nurse

Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Duties Nurse to join our private hospital chain with multiple locations across the UK. As a General Duties Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assessing patients, planning and delivering care, monitoring progress, administering medication, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Your excellent people skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills will contribute to the overall well-being and positive experience of our patients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to supervise junior staff, organize workloads, tutor student nurses, and provide advice on health-related issues.

General duties:

• Assessing patients and gaining their trust.
• Planning and delivering patients’ care.
• Monitoring patients’ progress.
• Taking samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures.
• Monitoring and administering medication.
• Writing records.
• Supervising junior staff.
• Organising workloads.
• Providing emotional support to patients and relatives.
• Tutoring student nurses.
• Advising patients and relatives on health-related issues.
